Mayor John F. Morrissey


Took the Oath of Office as the Mayor of the City of St. Marys in January of 2014.  Took the second Oath of Office in January of 2017.  Sits on the Camden County Board of Health, the St. Marys Intracoastal Gateway Committee, the Salvation Army Advisory Board of Camden County, the Camden County Public Service Authority (PSA) and the Coastal Regional Commission (CRC) and the CRC Finance Committee.

Previously elected in 2010 as a Councilmember Post #5 for the City of St. Marys.  Served on the City’s Ethics Committee, the Property Committee, the St. Marys Downtown Development Authority and the County Joint Development Authority.

Retired from Corning Incorporated.  Career path involved strategic and business procurement management positions for Corning Incorporated at the business, division and corporate levels with both domestic and global sourcing requirements.  Responsibilities included corporate supplier management; contract negotiations for key supply chain partners, strategic commodity planning and management, procurement spend analysis for businesses divisions, team integration and matrix communication management between supply bases and customers within the corporation businesses.

Supported corporate level procurement initiatives and the Consumer Division, the Environmental Products Division, the Telecommunications Division and the Science Products Division in each of their specific strategic supply chain developments.

Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Bonaventure University University of Buffalo MBA Program
